Carlisle Computer Classroom at Ehrman

The Carlisle Computer Classroom (CCC), located in MSB Room198B of NYU School of Medicine, is the library's electronic classroom. The library makes the CCC available to faculty, students, and employees of NYU School of Medicine and NYU Medical Center. The CCC seats twenty people and is equipped with twenty PCs, in addition to an instructor's workstation and a projector. Windows XP Professional is run on the PCs. All CCC computers are networked and Internet ready.

All machines are loaded with the following basic software:

• Microsoft Office 2010 Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Adobe CS5 suite
• Firefox and Internet Explorer 6.0
• Currently available NYU School of Medicine educational modules
• SPSS
• Endnote

The Carlisle Computer Classroom is located at 550 First Ave. between 30th St. and 33rd St. As you enter the building, bear right at the front desk and walk through the doorway marked "550 - School of Medicine." Walk straight back, continuing past the elevator bank in the wood-paneled lobby. Continue through the glass doors marked "Smilow Research Center." The Carlisle Computer Classroom will be on your right. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask at the hospital front desk.  Please remember that there is no eating or drinking in the CCC.
