Carlisle Computer Classroom at Ehrman

The Carlisle Computer Classroom (CCC), located in MSB Room198B of NYU School of Medicine, is the library's electronic classroom. The library makes the CCC available to faculty, students, and employees of NYU School of Medicine and NYU Medical Center. The CCC seats twenty people and is equipped with twenty PCs, in addition to an instructor's workstation and a projector. Windows XP Professional is run on the PCs. All CCC computers are networked and Internet ready.

All machines are loaded with the following basic software:

• Microsoft Office 2007 Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, FrontPage, and PowerPoint
• Adobe CS3
• Firefox and Internet Explorer 6.0
• Adobe Acrobat 8
• Currently available NYU School of Medicine educational modules
• SPSS 13
• Macromedia Dreamweaver
• Endnote
• InDesign

The Carlisle Computer Classroom is located at 550 First Ave. between 30th St. and 33rd St. As you enter the building go past the front desk, straight back and slightly to the right, past a coffee stand. Go past the elevators in a wood-paneled lobby and through glass doors. The Carlisle Computer Classroom will be on your right. If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask at the front desk that you see as you enter the building.
