NYUHSL supports the research efforts at NYULMC through search services, assistance with citation management, and quantitative data services.
- Search Services
Through our search services, we offer expertise in searching and critical appraisal of the literature. Librarians are available to consult on developing search strategies, to collaborate on conducting and writing systematic reviews, and to assist with searches to identify animal alternatives for research.
Fill out this form to request search services and a librarian will contact you to further discuss your search needs.
- Citation Management
The library offers instruction in the use of EndNote, RefWorks, and Mendeley citation management tools. To ask a question about one of these tools, or to arrange an individual consultation or group instruction, Ask a Librarian.
- Quantitative Data Services
Through our quantitative data services, we provide analytical software for statistical and geographic analysis (SPSS, SAS, GIS software), access to information resources (CDC, WHO, Census, etc.), and professional assistance through instruction and personal consultations. The services offered range from free services--such as sample maps, online training through ESRI, or a year of ArcGIS software--to more in-depth paid services, involving long-term project assistance.
