Data Services
The Data Services team provides research support through classes and consultations in REDCap, data management, data visualization, and other topics. Class descriptions are below. The Data Services team also manages the NYU Data Catalog. If you would like to share descriptions of your data on the catalog, please contact datacatalog@med.nyu.edu.
Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan (DDS)
NYU Health Sciences Library (NYUHSL) offers free comprehensive Document Delivery Services for affiliated users. Use the request an article or book form to order materials that are not owned by NYUHSL, or items that are stored at offsite storage. Faculty, staff, and students affiliated with NYU Langone Health, and NYU College of Dentistry may use NYUHSL's document delivery services.
Education and Curriculum Support
The Health Sciences Library supports the curriculum and education-related needs of NYU Langone, Colleges of Dentistry and Nursing, and Graduate Medical Education. We help to ensure student success through basic library orientations, instruction in locating evidence-based medicine resources, database searching, EndNote, data and knowledge management, and specialized research instruction. We also offer curriculum support services for instructors.
Information for Patients and Families
NYUHSL brings expertise in patient perspectives, and our librarians can partner with patient education professionals, clinicians, and patients in identifying the best and most appropriate patient information.
Literature Searching Support
The Health Sciences Library provides expert-level support for users engaged in any type of literature searching. Develop an effective literature searching strategy for your narrative, scoping, systematic, or other literature review project by arranging a one-on-one or small group consultation.
Research Metrics
The NYU Health Sciences Library’s Research Metrics team provides support for all aspects of publication productivity, impact, and collaboration, with particular attention to NYU faculty publishing.
