Aileen McCrillis provides operational oversight to the three NYU Health Sciences Library locations; The Sid and Ruth Lapidus Library at the NYU School of Medicine, the Herman Robbins Medical Library at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, and the Library at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, as well as the Library’s Document Delivery Services. She is also part of the Division of Research, Education, and Clinical Support and is the library liaison to the Department of Neurology. Her areas of expertise include literature searching and systematic reviews, bibliometric analysis, and library user assessment.

Aileen McCrillis earned her BA in Art History from SUNY University at Buffalo, MS in Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute, and MPH with specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics from the CUNY School of Public Health.
