Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID)
ORCID is a digital ID which can uniquely identify scientific researchers and other academic contributors. Personal names are not unique, can change, and may be presented in different writing systems, whereas ORCID can unambiguously identify a researcher/author.
The Health Sciences Library is available to assist NYU School of Medicine faculty in setting up their ORCID accounts. Faculty who wish to link ORCID to their NYU Faculty Bibliography listings, can click here to use our tool.
