The Health Sciences Library supports the curriculum and education-related needs of NYU Langone Health, the NYU College of Dentistry, and both Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education within the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Grossman Long Island School of Medicine. Our goal is to ensure successful learning through library orientations, instruction in locating evidence-based medicine resources, database searching, citation management, data and knowledge management, and specialized research instruction. We also support the clinical community with the goal of improving and promoting the use of biomedical and health information in clinical contexts throughout the NYU Langone health care system.
NYUHSL brings expertise in patient perspectives, and our librarians can partner with patient education professionals, clinicians, and patients in identifying the best and most appropriate patient information.
The Health Sciences Library provides expert-level support for users engaged in any type of literature searching. Develop an effective literature searching strategy for your narrative, scoping, systematic, or other literature review project by arranging a one-on-one or small group consultation.
