The Health Sciences Library supports the curriculum and education-related needs of NYU Langone Health, the NYU College of Dentistry, and both Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education within the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Grossman Long Island School of Medicine. Our goal is to ensure successful learning through library orientations, instruction in locating evidence-based medicine resources, database searching, citation management, data and knowledge management, and specialized research instruction. We also support the clinical community with the goal of improving and promoting the use of biomedical and health information in clinical contexts throughout the NYU Langone health care system.
To engage all learners at point-of-need, we offer a range of asynchronous and on-demand instruction resources, live classes, and curriculum-integrated instruction.
In addition to instruction, librarians are available to assist with the following curriculum support services:
- Recommending and acquiring course-specific books, journals, and other resources
- Finding multimedia resources for the development of online modules
- Creating course-specific subject guides
