Nicole Contaxis is a member of the Data Services Team, and is the Lead of the NYU Data Catalog. Nicole develops the vision and strategy for the future of the NYU Data Catalog, including software development, curation, and partnerships with allied departments at the institution. She leads NYU’s participation in the Data Discovery Collaboration Project, a national collaboration to improve institutional data discovery.
She received her B.A. from Wesleyan University and her M.L.I.S. from University of California – Los Angeles.
